CLINICAL STUDY

Progressive anti-hair loss range

Visible reduction in age-related hair loss

The Progressive Anti-Hair Loss range was developed to help reduce hair loss related to age and heredity, responsible for a gradual thinning of the hair fibre and sparse hair.

Thanks to formulas enriched with targeted active ingredients, it helps to strengthen the hair fibre, improve hair resistance and preserve hair density.

Clinically proven efficacy

Each product in the Progressive Anti-Hair Loss range has been the subject of a dedicated clinical study, conducted under dermatological supervision on volunteers experiencing progressive hair loss.

The products were applied for 3 months, in order to precisely measure the reduction in hair loss.

ASSESSMENT PROTOCOLS

The method

The assessment is based on scientific techniques that allow objective measurement of hair loss and its progression.

Wash Test

This method allows precise quantification of the number of hairs lost during washing. The shed hairs are collected and counted, providing a reliable measure of the intensity of hair loss.

Procedure

  • Volunteers do not use shampoo for 48 hours.
  • Hair is washed over a basin equipped with a collection device to recover and count the shed hairs

Phototrichogram

(scientific analysis of the hair cycle)

The phototrichogram allows precise analysis of the hair growth cycle.

Procedure

  1. A small area of the scalp is shaved.
  2. The hairs are dyed on the shaved area so that they are clearly visible.
  3. A photograph is taken using a dermatological camera.
  4. A second photograph is taken 48 hours later.

The images are then analysed using specialised software.

Hair cycle analysis

The software measures several scientific parameters:

Hair density

Total number of hairs per cm².

Hair cycle phase

Each hair is classified according to its phase:

  • Anagen phase: growth phase
  • Telogen phase: shedding phase
Anagen / telogen ratio

The higher the number of hairs in the anagen phase and the lower the number of hairs in the telogen phase, the more hair loss is reduced.
