Thickening Protocol

Strengthened, thickened & enhanced hair

The Thickening Protocols were developed to act directly on the hair fibre and visibly increase hair thickness, without weighing it down.

Thanks to the combination of several complementary treatments, they help to strengthen the hair structure and deliver an immediate and long-lasting thickening effect*.

The efficacy of the protocols was evaluated through 4 independent ex vivo tests, supplemented by scientific observations in the laboratory, in order to precisely measure the increase in hair diameter.

EVALUATION PROTOCOLS

Scientific methodology

The ex vivo studies are conducted on strands of natural human hair.

The protocol consists of:

Measuring the hair diameter before application
Applying the full thickening protocol
Measuring the diameter of the hair fibre again using a scanning electron microscope (SEM), which uses an electron beam to measure the hair diameter at the μm scale. The measurement is taken immediately after application of the protocol.
After 16 applications of the protocol (2 months), the diameter measurement is taken again

On each strand, several hairs are carefully selected in order to carry out precise measurements at the core of the hair fibre.

The studies demonstrate a significant increase in hair diameter from the first use, with a visible thickening effect immediately and further enhanced with each application*.
