Clinical study of the reactive anti-hair loss range
CLINICAL STUDY
Reactive anti-hair loss range
Visible reduction in hair loss
The Anti-Hair Loss range was developed to help reduce reactive hair loss, notably linked to stress, fatigue or seasonal changes.
Thanks to formulas enriched with targeted active ingredients, it helps to strengthen the hair fibre and improve hair strength.
Clinically proven effectiveness
Several clinical studies have been conducted to assess the effectiveness of the Anti-Hair Loss range products in reducing hair loss and improving hair strength.
Clinical anti-hair loss study
The clinical study is conducted on volunteers to assess the product's effectiveness against hair loss.
ASSESSMENT PROTOCOLS
The method
The assessment is based on two complementary techniques:
Pull Test (traction test)
The investigator applies gentle traction to a lock of around 60 hairs across different areas of the scalp.
- frontal area
- temples
- back of the head
The number of extracted hairs is then counted to measure the intensity of hair loss.
This test determines whether hair loss is active or not.
Phototrichogram
(scientific analysis of the hair cycle)
This imaging technique makes it possible to analyse the hair cycle and identify the proportion of hair in the shedding phase.
Procedure
- A small area of the scalp is shaved
- The hair is dyed in the shaved area to make it clearly visible.
- A photograph is taken using a dermatological camera.
- A second photograph of the same area is taken 48 hours later.
The images are analysed using specialised software to measure:
- total hair density (number of hairs per cm²)
- hair density and the proportion of hair in the anagen phase (growth phase)
- hair density and the proportion of hair in the telogen phase (shedding phase)
- the anagen/telogen ratio
These indicators show a reduction in hair loss.
