*Ex vivo test: 15 locks of hair, measurements immediately after application and after 96 hrs, using the Shine Routine (shampoo + mask + treatment + oil).

SHINE TEST

Hair radiance is measured at different time points:
• Before damage: baseline measurement (T-1)
• After SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) degradation: hair intentionally dulled (T0)
• After the initial treatment with the routine (T1)
• Then 24 hrs (T24h), 72 hrs (T72h), and 96 hrs (T96h) after this initial care step.
• Finally, a final measurement is taken after 8 applications, equivalent to 1 month of use (2 washes per week).

The locks of hair are then placed in a climate chamber (controlled temperature and humidity) to ensure reliable, reproducible evaluation. Shine is measured using a professional spectrophotometer via gloss at 8°, a recognised indicator for precisely assessing the product's effect on hair radiance and mirror-like shine.

ANTI-FRIZZ TEST

Hair moisture content is evaluated at several stages:
• Before bleaching (T-1),
• Immediately after bleaching (T0),
• After an initial treatment with the routine (T1),
• Then after 24 hrs (T24h), 72 hrs (T72h), and 96 hrs (T96h) spent in a temperature- and humidity-controlled chamber. Hair moisture is measured instrumentally and indirectly using an evaporimeter.
An expert technician assesses the anti-frizz effect (T0/T24h/T48h/T72h/T96h) using an internal clinical scale. The hair locks are placed in a humidity chamber under controlled climatic conditions (T = 30°C, RH = 70–80%).

HYDRATION AND FIBRE RESTRUCTURING TEST

Hair hydration is measured at various time points:
• Before bleaching: initial hydration level (T-1)
• After bleaching: weakened, dried-out hair (T0)
• After an initial treatment with the routine (T1)
• Then after 24 hrs (T24h), 72 hrs (T72h), and 96 hrs (T96h).
The structure of the hair fibre is also analysed using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to visualise cuticle closure, damage reduction, and the improvement of the hair's surface.
