Radiance Shampoo

*Test ex vivo : 15 strands, measurements taken after immediate application and 96h, of the Shine Routine (shampoo + mask + treatment + oil).
*Without sulphated surfactants

The methods used

SHINE TEST

Hair radiance is measured at different points in time:
• Before damage: initial measurement (T-1)
• After degradation with SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate): hair intentionally made dull (T0)
• After the first treatment with the routine (T1)
• Then after 24 h (T24h), 72 h (T72h) and 96 h (T96h) following this first treatment.
• Finally, a last measurement is taken after 8 applications, equivalent to 1 month of use (2 washes per week).

The strands are then placed in a climatic chamber (controlled temperature and humidity) to ensure a reliable and reproducible assessment. Shine is measured with a professional spectrophotometer, using the 8° gloss, a recognised indicator that precisely assesses the effect of the product on the radiance and mirror shine of the hair.

ANTI-FRIZZ TEST

Hair moisture content is assessed at several stages:
• Before bleaching (T-1),
• Immediately after bleaching (T0),
• After a first treatment with the routine (T1),
• Then after 24 h (T24h), 72 h (T72h) and 96 h (T96h) spent in a chamber with controlled temperature and humidity. Hair moisture is measured instrumentally and indirectly using an evaporimeter.
An expert technician assesses the anti-frizz effect (T0/T24h/T48h/T72h/T96h) using an internal clinical scale. The strands are placed in a humidity chamber with controlled climatic conditions (T = 30 °C, RH = 70–80 %).

HYDRATION AND FIBRE RESTRUCTURING TEST

Hair hydration is measured at different time points:
• Before bleaching: initial hydration level (T-1)
• After bleaching: weakened and dried-out hair (T0)
• After a first treatment with the routine (T1)
• Then after 24 h (T24h), 72 h (T72h) and 96 h (T96h).
The structure of the hair fibre is also analysed under an electron microscope (SEM) to visualise the closing of the cuticles, the reduction of damage and the improvement of the hair surface.
