Why does coily hair become dehydrated?
The very tight spiral of coily hair slows the distribution of sebum and makes the fibre more porous: it absorbs water… but loses it just as quickly. As a result, without a suitable routine, hair quickly becomes dry, rough and prone to breakage again.
